First thing first. Always know your stores coupon policy!
Always have a battle plan before you go into the store.
Many grocery stores will double coupons up to a certain amount. I usually shop at Bi-lo because they double coupons up to .99 cents.
Grocery stores usually have you use their membership cards to get their sales in the store. Many times you can load e-coupons to your card that you can stack with your other coupons to get double the savings!
Buy One Get One(BOGO) -I bet you did not know this but you can use BOGO coupons with another coupon, such as a $1 off, you can not however use two BOGO on the same item.
If the item is on sell for BOGO you can use a BOGO coupon and get both items for free!
You can stack coupons together, meaning you can use store coupons with manufactures coupons! One off my favorite stores to do this it Target!
Rain Checks - These are great for when to store is out of a item on sale that week. All you have to do is go to customer service, tell them which item and how much of that item you want a rain check for. You have 30 days to use the rain, but that is plenty of time. The next time you go to the store bring your rain checks and coupons and you will be good to go!

Blinkie :: Coupon dispensed from a box attached to a store shelf. The term “blinkie” comes from the box which sometimes has a blinking light.
CAT, Catalina :: Coupons which print at the register after your purchase is made. These can usually be used like cash on your next purchase. Usually store coupons that can be stacked with Manufacturer coupons
CPN :: Coupon
CRT :: Cash register tape — referring to coupons at the bottom of your receipt.
DND :: Do Not Double
ECB :: Extra Care Bucks From CVS, prints on receipt
Filler :: An item you use in order to use coupons with Register Rewards
IVC :: Instant Value Coupon from Walgreens, found in the monthy EasySaver booklet
P&G :: Proctor & Gamble coupon insert
Regional :: A coupon or deal available in only a specific area
RR :: Register Rewards found at Walgreens that print with your recipet
SCR :: Single Check Rebate (Rite Aid)
Tear pad :: A pad of rebate forms or coupons attached to a store shelf
UPR :: Up Rewards, a coupon you can earn on your register receipt at Rite Aid
Winetag :: A coupon hanging on the package of a product
WYB :: When You Buy
V :: Valassis coupon insert found in Sunday newspaper
